One of Avenue Growth's founders JP Rout is leaving the company to peruse other goals outside Avenue Growth.

Avenue Growth initially started as Sales-as -service platform later evolved to a full-stack on-demand workforce platform for companies to find, hire & manage on-demand workers especially in blue & grey collar space.

JP Rout joined Avenue Growth as an Entrepreneur in residence and was later promoted to Co-founder and served as Chief Growth Officer of the company.

JP Rout is a qualified Cost and management accountant by profession and holds a management degree in finance and marketing. He had worked in the financial sector and has managed clients like Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Cushman & Wakefield, Adobe. Later, he worked for an early-stage startup 'Oyster connect' before starting 'Avenue Growth'.

Today the platform manages 70000+ on-demand workers spread across 500+ cities and towns, generating more than a million earning opportunities on the platform.

"The last 4 years at Avenue Growth were undoubtedly some of the best years. We set off with a massive goal to disrupt the job-tech space and change the way the company hires, and this made for an awesome experience. Although the time has come to move on and pursue other interesting challenges, I will continue to cheer for the entire Avenue Growth team", JP Rout said on his departure.

Avenue Growth has come a long way in the job-tech space. Last year, the company signed an MoU with the Haryana government to provide an immediate earning opportunity to the youth of Haryana.

During Covid-19 lockdown, the company also launched WewillWin, a platform to arrange real-time verified information on crucial subjects like beds, oxygen, ambulances, medications, and more by using the network of freelance telecallers.

Brand Capital, GSV labs from Silicon Valley, and other prominent angel investors like Aditya Malik ( Senior Partner of Lumis Venture), Avtar Monga ( Partner of Stride Ventures ) and business houses have invested in the company.
